She is vomiting and struggling to breathe - aspiration pneumonia. Please keep donating and sharing. She’s fighting, so we will keep fighting for her!! ❤️Nonnie Update❤️ Nonnie is a rock star and is defying the odds and doing AMAZING! By tonight she was able to stand, walk around, eat very small meals, and keep her body temperature regulated! Nonnie still has a potassium issue and needs very close monitoring & continued care, so after she gets released from the 24/7 vet tomorrow, she will be with a very special medical foster 🩺🥼until we are sure she’s well on the road to recovery. THANK YOU PAC family for allowing us to save her 🐾🐾

Howdy – I am Rocky, and I am looking for a retirement home. At age 10, the people I thought loved me up and discarded me in a shelter. I am still not sure why, cause I always tried to do what they asked and to not do what they didn’t like. A little about me:![]()
- I like my crate and am quiet and not at all fussy in it.![]()
- I don’t jump on people or get on the furniture or chew people stuff (but I sure do like a pup toy with stuffing to tear out; a squeaker is a plus).![]()
- I like a good scratch now and then, but I promise I will not be all in your face for one.![]()
- I sure do like car rides.![]()
- My foster homes have included (older dog savvy) children and other dogs and a couple cats, and I have done fine with all.![]()
- I am in good shape for the shape I am in and am not currently on any Rx other than my heartworm meds.![]()
- I sure enjoy a little spot outdoors to soak up some rays and commune with nature, I do not need a huge yard to run in, cause the only running I do anymore is in my sleep.![]()
- I am ok with the leaf blower next to me, but sometimes certain sounds can make me anxious, like thunderstorms. I don’t destroy anything or run, but I will pace.

Boxer mix Sierra is at risk for IMMEDIATE euthanasia at the shelter. She’s timid but oh-so anxious to trust people and desperate for affection. We’d like to help her but MUST have a foster home. Can YOU save her?

PUP-DATE: Nonnie made it through the night which is a great sign. She’s not even close to being out of the woods, but making it 24 hours is the first goal - and she’s halfway there! And, she now has the strength to lift her head up! Go Nonnie, go!
