Since 1999
Saving Animals & Finding Homes
Our History
Our group was founded over 30 years ago by Ursula Miller.
At that time we were known as the Barrow County Humane Society and in 1999 changed our name to Pup & Cat Co. Ursula and her volunteers have rescued, cared for and placed over 5 thousand unwanted, sick and mistreated dogs and cats. When asked why she does this task her only answer is:
“Out of love and respect for the animals”
One of the missions of the group is to educate the public about the large population of unwanted pets and the importance of spaying and neutering.
What Drives Us
Our Mission
Protecting Unwanted Pets & Creating Adoptions Together
Pup & Cat Co. is a no-kill humane society, which means we do not euthanize animals for lack of space or for financial reason. We ensure that every adoptable animal finds a permanent home.
