Now this is a very special young lady. Cate Davis celebrated her 13th birthday this weekend and her friends asked her what she wanted. This caring young lady asked her friends to donate to Pup & Cat Co, an organization close to her heart and for whom she has volunteered in the past, as well as her family adopting their two dogs from Pup & Cat. Donated presents were definitely what she got, both monetary and needed items for fosters and some treats. Pictured here in Cate with her two beloved pets. She has a kind giving spirit her parents say and a young person who some day hopes to become a vet. THANK YOU CATE!

Meet Riley... Her nickname is Smiley Riley because she is ALWAYS happy. She is always smiling and wagging her tail and has the sweetest personality of just about any dog we have ever known. She is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and has basic commands. Poor Riley was at a high kill shelter when Pup and Cat first spotted her. We thought she deserved a chance. Her smile won us over!! We pulled her from the shelter and then found out she was pregnant and heartworm positive!! Poor girl... Her puppies are now getting adopted into loving homes and we are ready to start her heartworm treatment. We are looking for a foster home for this sweet girl for the next two months for her to undergo treatment. We need someone that lives in Barrow county and can easily transport her to the Veterinarian for treatment. She was a wonderful momma dog and is just absolutely perfect!!
